WG updates
- Transport : User story is shared with Sagar. Sagar will come up with the plan of execution in a couple of weeks.
- O-RAN : Continue on the O-cloud registration story and scope. Stories will be created for R6.
- Modeling : Working on user stories on NF deployment CR extensions. This requires modeling updates which is a good avenue to bring new modeling process. Meeting alternate Thursdays.
- GenAI : Pursuing hackathon. Brainstorming on ideas, lab environment, data samples to retrain/RAG models.
R5 release date
- Artifacts Release date : June26th code sign off. End of June ( June 30th - Monday)
- External announcement from LFN : July 1st week.
R6 roadmap
Free5gc support
- free5gc is adopted by Linux foundation
- 3.4 version supports quality on demand. Using Camara and Nephio to realize this use case.
- Enhancing the Nephio operator for free5gc
- Updating the packages for the latest free5gc version
- Updating the test scripts
- End to end testing.
- Regular cadence of making sure free5gc is up to date in every release.
- Girish will present this QOD with Camara and Nephio to TSC. Infosys team is looking at both OAI and free5gc . Will know the details in a couple of weeks.
- Discuss testing strategy for free5gc.
Kubenet : Request Wim to present vision and roadmap of kubenet in TSC.
Sylva meeting date
- Tentatively May 12th.
