Antitrust Policy

• SIG Updates (R5 progress and R6 Planning)

  • Transport : Started meeting with developers. Discussions are on over slack.

  • O-RAN: No meeting last week. waiting for Stephan to provide updates in Github on O-Cloud registration user-story definition and firming up for R6 scope.

  • Modeling and SDK: WG lead not available, no new updates. Modeling meeting on Thursday 8:00 am PT

  • Service Assurance: Finalized user-story for 5 metric is defined. Presented to sig automation. Exploring if we should use open 5GS ( they have metrics that can be exposed/used). O-Tel can be used as presentation layer

    • Open 5GS project link: Metrics with Prometheus

    • Create the operators and CRDs for open 5GS

    • Initial 5 KPIs are focussed on infra using Porch - priority one

    • User-stories would include both NF and Infra in future - R6 and beyond

    • Need additional contributors to the WG both for user-story definition as well as developers to pick up the stories. Meeting time needs to be adjusted. SK university time-zone needs to kept in mind

    • Girish and Eddy to connect on aligning on 5G Core and future evolution

  • GenAI: Hackathon prep requires making the environment ready so RAG pipelines can drive some code development that could be used in Nephio experimental and main code at some point. GenAI WGs meetings will resume once the prerequisites are met.

• Agenda 1 : Meeting with Sylva in next SIG Architecture to align with Nephio. O-RAN synergy is also very important.
