I have been working with Project Nephio since inception. Having served Nephio Project for two years as TSC Vice Chair, and SIG architecture Chair I understand how to steer the ship in open source and ensure Nephio is successful. Working in Service Orchestration space for the past 8+ years I understand the problems with previous open source projects, standards, existing industry solutions and looking to bridge the gap of telecom, enterprise and web-scale world through Nephio. At this stage I would like to do the following:

  1. Increase Nephio active participants through creating opportunities within enterprise, start-ups, public cloud and academia’s involvement

  2. Ensure TSC members share a voice in shaping SIGs strategy and Nephio’s roadmap/direction

  3. Ensure NF vendors are able to support cloud native and Nephio vision by adoption of Nephio principles through influencing their R&Ds

  4. Continue to align Nephio’s vision with O-RAN, CAMARA, Sylva and broader open source ecosystem

    1. Drive AI adoption for Nephio at various levels bringing synergies with LFN’s AI initiatives.

My vision for Nephio is as the best-in-class, production-ready reference implementation of a declarative automation framework for infrastructure and NF deployment automation at scale, leveraging the best in class capabilities from the open source cloud native ecosystem and serving as the industry reference point for standardization. I would like to work with the community to strengthen its focus on the core design principles and implementation while also building a strong vision for the future
