Free5GC Support

• Infosys is making progress

• Some docker images are not being used

• There were custom builds of Free5GC NFs but Free5GC may have moved back to using the images directly from the Free5GC project

• It should be OK to remove the build of the images that are not used

Nephio R6 Release

• Content: Porch improvements, O-RAN/O2IMS and Free5gc

• The current level of functionality in Porch is OK for the release, Porch 1.5.5 would be a RC pre-release for Nephio R6

• SIG-Release view

  • Use case tests are broken in Test Infra: Free5gc and OAI (Containerlab version issue?)

  • Checklist/Release Template for R6

  • Tagging in Catalog

  • Release jobs should be OK

• Architecture and components documentation is the main work left (Authors are difficult to corner)
