Key Updates
Discussion on Nephio webinar update - Sana
Virtual event for longer-term architecture and community engagement
Goal
High level Nephio update for broader LFN community e.g., Sylva, 5G super blue print etc for improving awareness and collaboration. Invite service assurance, AI and Transport companies to present their collaboration opportunities and contribute in Nephio WG5, WG6 and WG7 etc.

SIG Status
Network Architecture
Good discussions in O-RAN WG, progress on O2IMS story
Implementing FOCOM and NFO use cases using Nephio principles
Some design changes are being proposed to the existing CRDs - Stefan brought a proposal to SIG Auto to bring this forward
Some status updates on NF Deployment are being made which will improve feedback
Other discussions around GenAI are being made with other companies TBD
R7 release is under discussion, some of the existing items will fall organically in to the R7 roadmap
Automation
Well attended meeting yesterday with presentation on the NFDeployment use case which was well received
Main issue is to see how it will get implmented, have we got community resources to work on the Nephio operators for Free5GC for example?
Porch documentation updates are progressing well
Porch is being updated to use kpt.dev rather than GoogleContainerTools - lots of references in both kpt and porch are needed.
