@Liam Fallon raised the issue of the need for a policy on versions of Nephio that we support. Proposal is to manage N and N-1 releases, remove references from documentation and use cases that refer to unsupported capabilities in earlier releases.
“Support” for older releases is best effort, and is related to critical issues soon after the release of the next version, answering questions relating to migration off the earlier release, but not to provide support for significant bug fixes on the earlier release.

SIG NW Architecture:
scope is defined for R6, more planning required over the next couple of weeks
SIG Automation:
Good participation in the weekly meetings
Porch 3-way merge was merged - one of the big-ticket items completed
Will start looking at the mutation pipeline in Porch
Need to start looking at the nephio controllers - all the use cases rely on them but they are not stable or being maintained. Good topic for the F2F
@Liam Fallon will be off for a few weeks, there is no vice-chair but there will be an ad-hoc chair for the duration of this
SIG Security:
Two work items in progress - IAC scan looking to be merged, for the nephio and catalog repository
Looking for a volunteer to bring the OpenSSF security score for porch up
Demo of the secrets management completed, but the pull request needs to be merged - need to take some meetings with SIG Auto to drive this
No other security issues reported on the mailing list
AOB:
there is an OSFG meeting (O-RAN Software Alliance Open source Focus Group) meeting in New Hampshire on about the week of Oct 6, 2025 - @Sagar Arora will post info in the TSC slack channel if people want to join.
Zulip server is now live, and we should start considering when we should start migrating. We need to propose a migration timeframe and process to do so.
