Looked at the traceability options from Otel for Porch, Kostas had successfully integrated Otel collector in to Porch and we were able to see some values
Reviewed the mermaid diagram of how the Otel collector will collect traceability information
Kosta mentioned that the Jager instance mentioned int he Porch document has been deprecated, and made a pull rqeuest to update the Jaser instance
Discuss the other use-case metrics we can use for Observability for Porch, and started to focus back on the following:

  Repository Management
  - Create Gitea Repository
  - Create Porch Repository
  - Wait Repository Ready
  - Delete Repository
  Package Management
  - Create PackageRevision
  - Update to Proposed
  - Update to Published
  - Delete PackageRevision
  Metrics Collection
  - Performance Metrics
  - Operation duration tracking
  - Success/failure counting
  - Resource utilization monitoring
  - Error tracking and reporting

Kosta will continue to investigate the metrics in his Otel deployment

Eddy to deploy Otel in his own test cluster and validate the metrics avaliable in porch and we will discuss in the next meeting
